It was breath taking! There are so many designers that fail to match his genius, no man knows how to dress a woman the way he can!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906953579035862856.post-78720789373831079232012-06-16T10:30:55.631-04:002012-06-16T10:30:55.631-04:00I had the honor of being at Valentino's London...I had the honor of being at Valentino's London store many years back (with my friend getting fitted for a 'mother of the bride' dress! We walked into the shop, only a few dresses were on hangers to get a 'feel' for the quality. Then she was whisked off into a private room for fitting and style discussion. I chose to browse the street shops one being Laura Ashley and others. Won't forget that trip easily! Out of my price range, but a nice experience. Just her shoes, belt (yes a narrow Bling belt) and clutch cost more than our trip there combined (10 days in London with hotel, restaurants and shows). The dress was very expensive and the added expense of getting it back to Boston was another matter.Mary Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09278948492520705898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4906953579035862856.post-52460206296466887982011-12-13T18:13:12.714-05:002011-12-13T18:13:12.714-05:00Thanks for posting this! His Newbury street boutique always has beautiful, feminine garments for the upper crust shoppers but there is also a section in the back with relatively reasonable prices. Ie. 500 for a darling silk satin flared skirt with oversized bow. Yummy and attainable.
