How sweet is this image from my bedroom inspiration files? Love, love, love!
I've had my heart set on the Serena and Lily Pondicherry Bed with Nailhead trim (below) for my own bedroom redo, but all of a sudden I'm having cold-feet about its height and total curviness... and I really want the exact one from the image above!
Closest I can find so far is the Woodhouse by Jonathan Adler... it has the same top central curve coupled with two right angles on each side...
Here it is in some various room settings...
And some rooms with similar beds...

As an alternative to the pricey Jonathan Adler, this one from Pottery Barn is good bang for the buck. But it's just a headboard, not a bed, and the colors available don't work with my design.
And here we have a slighter subtler version from Restoration Hardware... and it's on sale!
Restoration Hardware also offers it in leather, which doesn't interest me but might interest you! Something you don't see everyday...
And then there's this one I found online from a random spot in NJ. I'll call for the price today...
What do you think?

I'm totally obsessed as well! love the look!
ReplyDeleteI have the same dilemma and exact same selection of lovely photos in my inspiration file for our master bedroom. I'm going with the Jonathan Adler as I think it has the best over all shape, scale and height, although living in Sydney will probably get my upholsterer to make one for me from scratch with my choice of fabric.
ReplyDeleteI have been on the hunt for a similar headboard as well and found a great option that is very similar to your inspiration photo - check out Bernhardt Interior's Madison Crown Top Headboard. There are a ton of great fabric options (but you can also do COM if you prefer) and it is reasonably priced. You can just get the headboard or the whole bed with sides. They have it on the floor here at Thomasville and it is beautiful with the antique brass nailheads! See link below:
