What do you make of it? I like... to an extent. I feel of all the trends for Spring, this is probably the hardest to execute for the average Joe (or Josephine). You'll need a pretty tight game plan to make the look eclectic yet still cohesive, paying careful attention to color and scale. (One of my twins likes to intensely mix patterns, but her picture would appear in that "Don't!" fashion section with the person's eyes blocked out to protect her - ahem her mother's - privacy.)

John Loecke and Jason Oliver Nixon are another design duo who expertly layer pattern and color...
