A photographer friend of mine recently turned me on to an awesome new feature available on the Sherwin Williams website. It's called "Chip It", and turns any online picture into a paint palette by matching each pixel to its database of 1500 paint colors.
To experiment, I used a couple of photos taken by my daughter a couple of weeks ago on the local garden tour. What do you think of the matches it made?
Perhaps you could use inspiration from your latest vacation to plan the palette of your next room?
Or, from an even more functional perspective, let's experiment with uploading images from some of our favorite fabrics to the program in order to hear some coordinating paint suggestions...
