Design On a Dime - Recap!

Last night's Design on a Dime event seems to have been a success!

Yesterday morning, each design team was assigned a blank wall on the theater stage on which to build their vignettes...

And in the afternoon, each team received a furniture delivery of one major piece to base their design around.  This is what we all came up with!

Becky started us off by expertly staple gunning grasscloth wallpaper and nailhead trim to our wall!

We were then delivered a beautiful, but fairly manly and chunky, leather desk...

A couple of mini-van loads later, and we had softened it up a bit...

With the exception of the lamp and the rug, everything we used came from either Homegoods, a flea market, a consignment shop, the Salvation Army, Craigslist or the dump!
You know we're not afraid to get our hands a little dirty - gotta love the DIY when you're working on a budget!

What do you think?
