I was recently looking for a birthday gift for Deb. You might know her...she is my stylish business partner and writes some killer blog articles!! I wanted to find something useful and most importantly, something that would reflect Deb and her style (insert brain wracking noise here). What's a girl to do? I started with the usual suspects and had no luck. So I popped onto Etsy, and quite by accident found this image:
For those of you who know Deb, she is wild about Schumacher's Imperial Trellis (have you seen her facebook photo lately?) and has it in green in her kitchen, foyer and guest bathroom. But the green was just way too predictable. So I convo'd with the Etsy Shop owner Dani of DaniNotes and she put together some ideas for me.
I stopped in my tracks when I saw this one:
Perfect for her living room, which is accented in turquoise and orange! Check out the finished product...
Dani of DaniNotes has many wonderful styles of melamine plates, platters and bowls for kids and grownups alike, and she will customize them for you. She also will create custom note cards, gift tags, party accessories and (dare I say it) holiday cards! She is a dream to work with, and is quick about getting back to you. And trust me, the finished product is beautiful!!!
Here are some images of her plates, platters and bowls:
And here are images of her party accessories:
And finally, the custom stationery and holiday cards:
Dani has been generous to giveaway a platter and four matching plates to a lucky Living Livelier reader!!! If you would like to enter to win, simply comment below and tell us your favorite pattern!
And be sure to check out DaniNotes on Etsy, online and on Facebook!
Good Luck!
Becky
Hi Becky and Deb, I love the trellis pattern, especially in the turquoise. Love the blog too, keep up the excellent work!
ReplyDeleteI like the imperial trellis too...it will always remind me of Deb :)
ReplyDeletePlease count me in for the raffle!

Um, hello?! Any and all patterns would work for me. Love these!
ReplyDeleteI love the lattice design. What great gifts!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this giveaway- there are so many choices- I would like one of each :) But if I had to pick just one I would have to go with and orange or blue striped plate with an orange or blue A- for my soon-to-be new last name :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all let me say how much I love your blog. I live in MA and I use your shopping tips all the time. I am actually going to the fabric store in Lynn this weekend! I love the geo pattern...it is fun and clean.
ReplyDeleteLove them all! The green with ENA in pink is luscious :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the "Evo" platter. A whole bunch.
ReplyDeleteI am super in love with the turquoise and orange trellis combo, its so chic!
ReplyDeleteI love them all, especially the trellis and the lattice.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I too think the trellis is lovely, for myself I would pick the pale blue wide stripe with the orange monoogram because I think it would look nice in the dining room with my chandelier and the adjacent oriental rug (in navy, chocolate and orange) in the hallway. I also really love the sailboat pattern since I love sailing and have two boys who would look cute eating off of those! ; )
ReplyDelete(Lots of love to you Deb from all of us!)
I think the birthday one is a great gift, something the child and parent will get use out of for years to come!
ReplyDeleteI love the trellis pattern - maybe in yellow or green. Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMe, me, me! I'm all about the trellis!
ReplyDeleteI'd have a hard time deciding. They're all fabulous! Maybe some stripes... :)
ReplyDeleteI spy a chevron platter on the etsy site...I'd pick that :-)
ReplyDeleteKimberly - I adore the PSA sailboat!
ReplyDeleteSo many good options...but my fave would be the Greek key design in gray with yellow lettering. I can see it now...(pick me, pick me)
ReplyDeleteI love them all...but I am drawn to the light blue with white criss cross. I like clean.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blog, Deb, btw. I'm sending the link to my roommate and former roommate. My former roommate is embarking on setting up a couple rentals. I think she can get some inspiration here.
I can't but help love the trellis pattern.
ReplyDeleteLove the orange checked pattern!
ReplyDeletelove em all, can't decide! Great find Becky!
ReplyDeleteHelen
I love the trellis of course.
ReplyDeleteI love them all, the sailboats are adorable and monkeys are my favorite animals, and the trelis pattern in darker green was very nice.... I have three boys so any one of these patterns would fit my style !!! Put me in the raffle....

I liked the one you choose! I am doing my kitchen and family room in a pool blue/turquoise with orange. I love the look but it is very hard to find things to tie it all together! Good choice!
