How cool and unique is this curved settee?  

While it's not entirely circular, it reminds me of the borne settee (which dates to the era of Napoleon III) that I've spotted for use in some gracious foyers...

Etsy Giveaway: Belly Babies Print

Since we moved in to our "new" 120 year-old house almost two years ago, I've detested pretty much everything about my daughters' shared bathroom - the ugly blue (fake) tile, the horrific blue countertop, the iradescent bathtub tiles that clash with the other blues, the completely random mirror and contemporary hardware.  As you'll see below, I've gone for the cheap fixes so far: changing out the hardware, and distracting with colorful wall decals, accessories, and my girls' framed school projects masterpieces!

Giveaway: Melamine Platter and Plates from Dani Notes!

Dani Notes is generously giving away a platter and four matching plates to a lucky Living Livelier reader...

I was recently looking for a birthday gift for Deb. You might know her...she is my stylish business partner and writes some killer blog articles!!  I wanted to find something useful and most importantly, something that would reflect Deb and her style (insert brain wracking noise here).  What's a girl to do?  I started with the usual suspects and had no luck.  So I popped onto Etsy, and quite by accident found this image:

For those of you who know Deb, she is wild about Schumacher's Imperial Trellis (have you seen her facebook photo lately?) and has it in green in her kitchen, foyer and guest bathroom.  But the green was just way too predictable.   So I convo'd with the Etsy Shop owner Dani of DaniNotes and she put together some ideas for me.
