Olde Good Things

A couple of weeks ago, I had a few hours in my old stomping ground of the Upper West Side, and finally got to visit Olde Good Things, an unbelievable store front specializing in all things vintage, "altered antiques", and generally cool stuff.

I was like a kid in a candy store, scoping out the diverse and funky lighting...

These Art Deco schoolhouse pendants were a favorite.  Wouldn't they be stunning over an enormous kitchen island?

Olde Good Things made these gorgeous tables from a tree salvaged after Hurricane Wilma.......

And the base is made from chains from the Staten Island Ferry!

A table with a similar base, but marble top, made by Olde Good Things recently graced the cover of House Beautiful.

Love this!

The store's filled with all kinds of random but fun vintage items, including this Macy's elevator sign. Would love this in a basement or rec room!

The collection of antique hardware is beyond impressive...

Looking for some flair for your beach/lake house?  Olde Good Things got you covered!

Olde Good Things has storefronts in NYC, LA, and Scranton PA...

But if none of those locations fit your travels, no worries.... they're coming to BRIMFIELD this Spring!

You can check out their online offerings here.
Happy Shopping!
