We were delighted to see that tomorrow's One Kings Lane Tastemaker Tag Sale features the collections of one of our hometown's own - photographer Matt Albiani.
Albiani's Manhattan and Long Island digs were both featured in Domino (sniff) magazine a couple of years ago. He infuses a beachy sensibility into both spaces, creating incrediblly artful and unique displays that never veer toward the cliche. I love Albiana's manner of displaying art and photographs - very daring, unexpected, and cool. (And if I tried it, you'd just assume I'd had some extended quality time with my Chardonnay before getting busy with the hammer and nails):

Matt Albiani is perhaps best known for his stunning beach photographs featuring life guards at work and at play. The general hotness of the subjects helps, but the credit definitely goes to Albiani for capturing them so artfully:
