Velvet...it's not just for Christmas Stockings!

Aside from the traditional red Christmas stocking or tree skirt, one fabric you just don't see that much anymore is velvet.  When I think of velvet, I think of the white throw pillows that sat on my grandparents' couch.  But other than that, I am hard pressed to think of another home featuring velvet.  But judging from the images below, perhaps it is making a come-back!

  2. I love velvet....matter of fact, I am trying to figure out how to make a wall of velvet drapes behind my bed......drool deep chocolately brown velvet.

  3. I love velvet! I am putting orange velvet pillows in a client's family room, and I recently bought a mohair velvet sofa for our wine room. It's so luxurious ... and comfy!
