Although it's hard to tell from the photo, the paint color is a beautiful navy, called Van Deusen Blue (Benjamin Moore HC-156). It was just recommended by interior designer extraordinaire Mary McDonald in Elle Decor (wish I had seen that before we tried about 8 different navy blues on the walls!), who described it as "a mix between Swedish royalty and a yacht vibe” that appeals to both men and women.
