I've recently become obsessed with attaining a Beni Ourain rug for my new bedroom project. These gorgeous cream and (usually) brown or taupe rugs, named for the tribe in the Middle Atlas mountains in Morocco that weaved them, have been everywhere lately. And for good reason - the Beni Ourain works seamlessly in a variety of atmospheres, from edgy to eclectic, traditional to serene. I just think each day would start a little bit happier (5:45am wake-up call, "Mommy, I need you now!") if the first thing my piggy toes hit was this pile of loveliness.
