Virtual Holiday House Tour featuring Kirsten Krason

Today our next installment of the Virtual Holiday House Tour series with our favorite design bloggers features Kirsten Krason from 6th Street Design School.

"I feel like Christmas decorations are something that you build-up over time. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and in our first few years of marriage we didn't have extra money to spend on lots of Christmas decorations. Thus I shopped many after Christmas sales to get everything for 75% off. I keep it pretty simple with my decorations. I like to have lots of silver and gold, and on my tree are bits of light green. Two of my favorite Christmas decorations are my hand-painted Santa I got in Russia and my tiny Christmas tree that has little Russian ornaments on it. I love that these items remind me of my time spent living in St. Petersburg. My favorite thing to do in December is light up lots of Christmas candles and play Holiday music whenever I can. The atmosphere is just as important as the decorations."

How's your decorating coming?
