Surely you've noticed the trendy Massimo Vitali's oversized beach photographs cropping up in your favorite shelter magazines the last couple of years. These works, mostly shot in Italy in the 1990s, tend to feature washed out colors, although I personally prefer those including bright blues and greens.
Most often, we see Vitali's photographs used in sleek, contemporary spaces, often by the beach. But as you'll see in the round-up below, they work in more lush, traditional homes, as well.
