Hicks in the Bedroom

It's everywhere, and for good reason.  I just adore the Hicks Pendant by Thomas O'Brien for Visual Comfort.  On the one hand, it feels very "schoolhouse" to me, while simultaneously throwing off an elegant, masculine sensibility.

I typically think of the Hicks pendant for kitchen island lighting...
