Jersey Shore: Bungalow

So it turns out there's more to the Jersey Shore than just these incredibly cheesy people:

Check out the beautiful boutique hotel Bungalow in Long Branch, NJ, with interiors created by my favorite reality show designers Bob and Cortney Novogratz of Nine By Design, who I previously blogged about here.  I enjoyed watching the Novogratzs work on the hotel during the first season of their show, as they bargained with their boss/developer to bring some of their more edgy ideas to fruition.

Looks like Bungalow is bringing some much needed class to the "Joisey" Shore.  The hotel appears slick and sophisticated, yet still comfortable.  My favorite aspect?  The artwork created by British artist Anne Carrington, a Novogratz favorite.  Carrington created 24 flags representing different coastal countries, one for each room in the hotel.  Notice below how the USA flag is crafted by sewing together remnants of blue jeans.

Enjoy, Deb
