I've been noticing a ton of gold up above lately, from striking, rich light fixtures (more on that tomorrow), to gold leaf or painted ceilings. The look is decadent!

The trend works beautifully with greens and blues, as you'll see in the following three images...
This living room is comprised of almost exclusively traditional elements, with the ceiling completing the look (and hitting it out of the ballpark, I might add)...
