Pantone Color of the Year for 2013!!!

I have to admit, I was a bit surprised (yet thrilled!) to see that Pantone's Color of the Year for 2013 is Emerald Green.

 

It is an incredibly intense color and am glad to see the design world 'going green'.  This versatile color radiates energy, but is still very grounding. 

Serene without being boring....

 Love emerald green in small pops of color!  It adds such a punch of WOW!

 

But of course Gweneth already knows that!!!
