Round-Up: Abstract Art Favorites

On Monday, we showed you some fabulous examples of living rooms featuring abstract art.  As promised, we're back today with a sampling of some of our favorite abstract painters working today...

I keep stumbling upon the distinct works of painter and cellist Caroline Wright, including in a somewhat recent "Emerging Artists" sale on One Kings Lane.  I just love the title of this one... "August's Humid Decline".

Not sure how the colors would work in your space?  No worries... you've got options!

I first found Sharon Paster's abstract landscapes on Serena and Lily's Baazar.  This one, called Trajectory, reminds me of the work of my favorite abstract painter, the late Helen Frankenthaler.

I blogged about the Erin Chance Fenstermaker painting I bought for my kitchen here.  I've never tired looking at it, and love the sophistication it brings to an area of the home typically reserved for 1st grade homework and bad cooking.  Here's another of my favorites by ECF...

New Jersey mom of two Reagan Geschardt builds layers of textures, colors, and shapes on to her paintings, like the one you see below.  You can access her beautiful collection here.

Etsy is always a wonderful place to look for affordable art, and we've found it in the works of Connecticut abstract artist Tracey Kafka.  This one would look awesome in my daughter's room, if I hadn't already filled the walls with other things I thought would look awesome.

Love this one, too....

Abstract art isn't for everyone, but if you are a fan, we hope we've offered up some interesting suggestions!

Have a great weekend!
